Vancouver Walk for Water raises thousands for clean water

Thanks to everyone who contributed to this year’s Walk for Water.   Our tenth annual Walk in West Vancouver brought in $3,450 and we expect another $1,000 to come. The Walk for Water in Vancouver was another heartening event with more than $4,000 raised for Help A Village Effort.

Glovertown Walk for Water raises over $22,000

The Glovertown HAVE branch’s 19th Walk for Water on June 10 was a tremendous success. The number of actual walkers was a little higher than last year’s walk.

Raise money through pledges to bring drinking water to villages in India.

Give clean water this holiday season

You are invited to support H.A.V.E. by giving the gift of clean water and sanitation to a community in India. H.A.V.E. is working to raise money to build 4 community wells, 3 wells for schools, and 2 purification systems for schools. The cost of a well is approximately $3000 which includes labour, materials, a submersible pump, an electric pump and a holding tank. We are a charitable organization that works with trusted on-the-ground NGOs to provide wells and sanitation systems to those who need it most.
