Join us on June 10 for the 19th Walk for Water to benefit Help A Village Effort. Glovertown, Nfld., held their 18th Walk for Water on June 11 with terrific results. About 45 people came out to raise money for clean drinking water in India – and they did! More than $11,300 was donated, which translates to 10 bore wells. In addition, Glovertown Academy’s Grade 5 class held their own Walk for Water, which raised enough money to complete payment for a fourth well from that school.

$6,085 raised in Vancouver Walk for Water

Thanks to everyone who contributed to this year’s Walk for Water. There was a real sense of camaraderie among the hearty souls who showed up and walked through the water. It turned out that Saturday was the rainiest day of the year with 40mm falling. We have received $6,085. You and HAVE supporters do make a difference. Thank you! David Phillips and the Walk Team
