On May 25th, we look forward to gathering again in support of those who do not have any of the benefits of clean running water in their homes. The Walk for Water in West Vancouver will cover about 3km. That is the distance village women walk every day to fetch buckets of water for their homes; water that is often polluted. (There is a shorter 1km walk.)
Our goal is to raise funds for three new wells. This will impact the lives of as many as 300 people as they will be getting clean water from a village pump footsteps away.
If you’re not able to walk the route, join us for refreshments and make a donation.
Lunch for all!
